Eva Novrup Redvall / University of Copenhagen

Eva Novrup Redvall is Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen where she is Head of the Section for Film Studies and Creative Media Industries. Her research focuses on film and television screenwriting and production with a particular focus on the Nordics. She has published widely in books and journals, e.g. the monograph From The Kingdom to The Killing on Danish television drama and a number of co-edited collections on e.g. European film and TV co-production. She is currently PI of the collaborative research project ‘Reaching Young Audiences: Serial Fiction and Cross-Media Storyworlds for Children and Young Audiences’ (funded by Independent Research Fund Denmark and based at the University of Copenhagen, 2019-2024. Besides her scholarly work, she is a film critic for the Danish newspaper Information and serves on the board of The Danish Film Institute.
