Anna Lovatt / Southern Methodist University

Anna Lovatt is Associate Professor of Art History at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Her research focuses on art of the 1960s onwards, particularly the role of drawing and diagramming in Conceptual Art, Land Art, Minimalism, and Video Art. She is co-curator of Lines of Resolution: Drawing at the Advent of Television and Video (Menil Drawing Institute, Houston, October 4, 2025 – February 8, 2026), and the author of Drawing Degree Zero: The Line from Minimal to Conceptual Art (Penn State University Press, 2019).
